Hey I’m back,
I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted here and I apologise for my absence.
I’ve been busy training and now I am a qualified phlebotomist. A little spark inside told me to go and train during lockdown, so I followed my intuition.
I’m so glad I followed this little voice inside as it’s opened up a whole new world where I feel I can give back. Pilates will of course always be at the heart of me. I can’t say just how important it is to follow your gut. Listen to that voice within, if you hear it calling follow it.
Our gut, instinct, whatever you want to call it, is always right!
So, to make up for my absence here is a special treat: an hour long video. It’s suitable for improvers and intermediate (so long as you know the basic principles you will be able to follow it, plus adjustments are cued).
At the end, if you have enough time you can enjoy the relaxation phase. If you’re short on time just do the class and go about your day. Nevertheless, I highly recommend you stay to the end and enjoy the benefits of relaxing and switching off, especially if you can do this video at the end of the day.
This is actually a recording of a class I did near the end of lockdown when our clients were not allowed in the studio. It was a time when everyone needed to feel part of a community, and before and after class we would always chat about what was happening in the world and check that everyone was ok.
This class will release tension and stress from your body, and allow your breath to enter your lungs so you can breathe fully. Breathe in fresh rejuvenating energy and release stress and negativity that holds no purpose.
Breathing is the first act of life, and the last. So it’s extremely important for our wellbeing we learn to breathe properly.
Let’s give our amazing bodies that carry us through life some physical nourishment, realign our posture, and stretch and strengthen our muscles so they are in balance.
